# Which Tool Do I Need?

Pick the right AI tool for what you want to do with Molecule

Molecule offers two AI tools. They don't overlap — pick by what you want to do:

**Rule of thumb:** if you want to chat, use MIRA. If an agent needs to *act* — create or change a Lab — use the Molecule Skill.
