# How to buy or trade IPTs

1. **Go to to** [**www.molecule.xyz**<br>](http://www.molecule.xyz)Visit Molecule’s official website to explore active research projects&#x20;
2. **Choose a scientific project on the** [**molecule.xyz**](http://molecule.xyz) **home page**\
   Browse the homepage or marketplace to find a project that aligns with your interests in biotech, longevity, neuroscience, or decentralized science (DeSci).
3. **Connect your wallet**\
   Click the “Connect” button in the upper right hand corner. You can use a crypto wallet (eg Metamask) or log in with your email address or X (Twitter) account.&#x20;
4. **Enter your purchase amount**\
   Molecule supports swaps with Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL) or Ethereum on Base.&#x20;
5. **Confirm your swap**\
   Click “Review Swap” → “Confirm Swap” → “Approve.”\
   Once approved, the transaction will process securely onchain.
6. **View your portfolio**\
   After your trade is complete, your Intellectual Property Tokens (IPTs) will appear in your Molecule portfolio dashboard. From there, you can track, manage, or trade your tokens anytime.
